Frank Mensah

Frank Mensah embodies the rapid rise of a coach toward major national responsibilities. General Manager and head coach of the Coast Wrestling Academy in Surrey, British Columbia, Mensah brings more than 14 years of international-level wrestling experience and 20 years of coaching. Named head coach of the Canadian U17 team, he leads the youngest group in the federal program.

In March 2025, Mensah was named women’s head coach at Carthage (NCAA Division III), extending his North American reach. Stating, “It’s an honour to lead the next generation into the future and an opportunity to work with coaches across the country to build a community of champions,” Mensah exemplifies an innovative vision of athletic development.

A coach for the 2025 U17 Pan American Championships, Mensah is progressively building a national and continental presence, promising a lasting contribution to Canadian wrestling development.
