A graduate of Concordia University (John Molson School of Business), he combined graduate studies with elite-level wrestling development.

A regular fixture at the Commonwealth Games and World Championships, Moore won bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games (Birmingham) at 86 kg, followed by silver at the 2023 Pan American Championships. A nine-time Canadian national champion (four senior titles, five age-group titles), he qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics via the Pan American qualifier in Acapulco.
